RPh on the Go has partnered up with a Indian Health facility in lovely Oklahoma that has an immediate opening for a Night Shift Pharmacist.

Location: Oklahoma (at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains)

Term of Assignment: 13+ weeks

Pharmacy Hours/Shift:

4x10-hour shifts

Night Shift

Job Responsibilities:

Review patient charts for compliance and drug interactions.

Assess appointments, labs, x-rays, consults, and related data to ensure appropriate drug therapy.

Address and escalate relevant issues to the supervisor.

Verify prescriptions from physicians or other prescribers for accuracy and determine necessary formulas and ingredients.

Compound medications by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients using standard formulas.

Supervise pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.

Provide detailed information to patients about drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.

Maintain pharmacy files, charge systems, and inventory records by entering patient and prescription data.

Organize and oversee the daily workflow of the pharmacy.

Requirements:

Active Oklahoma Pharmacist license.

Degree in Pharmacy.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
