Night Shift Inpatient Pharmacist Reno, NV
Reno, NV
Now hiring an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a 13-week+ contract at a large hospital system in Reno. You’ll be the sole pharmacist on duty during overnight hours, supported by a technician, and responsible for covering three hospital facilities.
Schedule:
7 nights on / 7 nights off
10-hour shifts | 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Start: Mid-June
Responsibilities:
Manage overnight pharmacy operations across multiple facilities
Oversee medication verification, dispensing, and emergency support
Collaborate with night staff and respond to clinical needs
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Requirements:
Active Nevada Pharmacist License (NV)
Minimum 5 years of experience in acute care inpatient hospital settings
Previous night shift experience required
Proactive, dependable, and confident working independently
Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell preferred (training available)
