A respected inpatient facility in Modesto is seeking a clinical pharmacist for a 13-week contract with potential for extension. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists looking to work in a hospital setting with a well-organized team and modern systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Order verification and medication dispensing
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
Provide consults to physicians and nursing staff
Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and state/federal regulations
Maintain accurate medication records and patient profiles
Technology Used:
EPIC (EMR)
Pyxis (automated dispensing system)
Requirements:
Active California Pharmacist License (in good standing)
Recent inpatient/hospital experience required
Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis preferred
