We are seeking an experienced Inpatient/IV Pharmacist for a 13-week, full time contract at a medical facility in Chesapeake, VA. Ideal Start Date: April 21
Duration: 13+ Weeks, Full-Time, Temp or Perm
Schedule: Mix of Days and Evenings, rotating weekends required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform IV preparation, including pain-controlled analgesia and antibiotics
Review and verify medication orders
Monitor for drug interactions and ensure safe dosing
Support the clinical team with expertise in inpatient pharmacy operations
Required Qualifications:
Active Virginia Pharmacist License
Minimum of 1 year of inpatient/IV pharmacy experience
Proficiency with EPIC EMR
Strong sterile compounding skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with chemo, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing
