Assignment Specifics:

Full-time

13+ weeks temp to perm

Shift: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm Job Duties:

Oversee all pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Perform medication order verification and review for accuracy.

Conduct patient assessments and monitor medication therapy outcomes.

Sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing nonformulary procurement, utilizing therapeutic interchanges and promoting rational drug therapy selection.

Provide clinical consultations and clarification to practitioners, providing recommendations for cost-effective therapeutic alternatives to medical staff as needed.
Requirements:

Active Pharmacist license in the state of Texas

At least 2+ years’ experience in a pharmacy leadership role required

1+ years’ experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting.
