Responsibilities:
Medication Accuracy: Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness and safety.
Patient Safety: Assess patient history and potential drug interactions to prevent conflicts.
Inventory Control: Manage and maintain medication inventory with precision.
Expert Support: Provide drug information and supervise pharmacy students and technicians.
Collaborative Care: Partner with the healthcare team on patient care and discharge planning.
What We’re Looking For:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college (Required); PharmD preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in a clinical setting (Preferred).
Certifications:
PA Pharmacist License (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Preferred)
Schedule:
12:30pm-11pm
