Full Time Retail/Long Term Care Pharmacist – Providence, RI
Soliant Health is seeking a highly skilled and dependable pharmacist to fill a full-time role in a dynamic retail and long-term care setting located in Providence, Rhode Island. Schedule:Monday, July 14, 2025 – Friday, July 18, 2025
Daily Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Total Hours: 42.5
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
Counsel patients on proper medication usage, side effects, interactions, and safety precautions
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and handling of pharmaceuticals
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare teams to maintain workflow and ensure a high standard of care
Required Qualifications:
Active Rhode Island Pharmacist License
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in both retail and long-term care pharmacy settings
Strong clinical knowledge and familiarity with a wide range of medications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and a thorough understanding of compliance standards
