Our client, a thriving pharmacy experiencing rapid growth, has doubled in size and continues to expand. To support this exciting development, they are looking for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team and contribute to meeting the rising demand for their services.

Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Technician (Direct Hire)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Framingham, MA
Shift: 4 PM – 12 AM, Rotating Weekends (Late shift only; flexible scheduling available for restricted availability)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately fulfill daily medication orders, ensuring smooth operations under the supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Assist in streamlining pharmacy operations by prepacking frequently requested medications, labeling them meticulously, and following proper storage protocols.
  • Skillfully package materials and medications by hand, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
  • Retrieve medications with precision from designated storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Apply labels to medication packaging with accuracy, conducting product scans to ensure correct labeling and packaging.
  • Maintain attention to detail by reporting any irregularities in scanning or inventory processes to supervisory pharmacists.
  • Uphold organization and efficiency by maintaining designated workstations and promptly restocking supplies.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and comply with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain personal safety and comply with all workplace safety regulations, understanding the importance of standing for extended periods.
  • Commit to a full-time, 40-hour workweek, ensuring reliable attendance and punctuality.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with IV/TPN experience. Retail pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
  • Licensing: Must hold a valid MA Pharmacy Technician license. PTCB certification is highly preferred.
  • Software: Experience with Frameworks is a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
