Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday (Core Business Hours, 40 hours per week)
  • Setting: Long-Term Care Pharmacy
  • Duration: Temp with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role
  • Work Environment: On-site with the exciting possibility of becoming 100% remote after completing business acumen training
  • Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 annually

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Collections Support: Draft demand letters, payment plans, and termination notices for customers with invoice payment issues, escalating as needed through legal avenues.
  • Contract Support: Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts, engaging subject matter experts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.
  • Compliance Assistance: Support healthcare providers in adhering to HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Legal Case Support: Prepare, review, and submit documents for discovery, subpoenas, or requests for information involving medical malpractice, insurance claims, and healthcare disputes.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth factual and legal research on healthcare laws, regulations, case law, and medical literature.
  • Communication Support: Facilitate effective communication with clients and stakeholders involved in healthcare-related cases.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, healthcare administration, or a related field. Additional coursework or certifications in healthcare law are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Healthcare experience is preferred, especially in pharmacy, nursing, or other healthcare roles.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Legal knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, and other healthcare programs
