Full Time Director of Pharmacy - Day Shift - Louisiana

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy willing to work in Bunkie, LA. This is a full time position, working Monday-Friday, day shift. If you are a proficient Pharmacist, with recent PIC experience, and are interested in a new opportunity, apply today! 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Perform both administrative and staffing duties as the sole pharmacist on-site.

Ensure proper medication management, including dispensing, storage, and documentation.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapies.

Supervise and support the pharmacy technician in daily tasks.

Maintain and utilize the hospital’s CPSI order entry system and Omnicell automation system.

Prepare and compound IV medications (Chemo compounding not required).

Participate in hospital committees and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Handle on-call responsibilities as needed. Requirements:

3+ years of PIC (Pharmacist in Charge) experience

5+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

IV compounding experience (Chemo not required)
