Job Title: Retail Pharmacist In Charge (Direct Hire)
Location: Windsor, CA

Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: 
$72.00 - $76.25/hour 
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to create your own hours as PIC

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring exceptional service, sales, inventory management, and staff development.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Team Development: Lead, train, and evaluate pharmacy staff, focusing on growth opportunities and building future leaders.
  • Pharmacy Care Program: Manage immunizations, injections, testing, and patient consultations to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Business Development: Work closely with senior leadership to develop store programs, increase sales, and achieve operational goals.

    Daily Duties:

  • Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while providing superior customer service.
  • Oversee team members in their daily tasks and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide updates to the Pharmacy Supervisor and Store Director on pharmacy performance and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with staffing needs and labor models.
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude and image to inspire and guide your team.

    Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Pharmacy (B.S. or PharmD).
  • Licensing: Active Pharmacist License in the state of California.
  • Experience: Proven leadership in retail pharmacy, with experience in managing teams and pharmacy operations.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of pharmacy laws, OTC drugs, third-party plans, and financial reports.
  • Strong initiative, customer service skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and Word.

    Additional Information:
    This location offers strong support with a long-term, established team of pharmacy technicians. The average daily volume is approximately 100 prescriptions, and the pharmacy uses the McKesson Enterprise Rx (ERx) software system.
