Job Title: Travel Pharmacist – 13-Week Contract
Location: Remote Tribal Facility, Arizona
License: Any State License Accepted (AZ License Not Required)
Openings:

  •  Outpatient Clinic Pharmacist

  • Night Shift Emergency Department Pharmacist – Clinical experience required, with a willingness to obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. This is a decentralized ED pharmacist role.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Outpatient Clinic Pharmacist:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an outpatient setting, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

  • Dispense medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes.

  • Emergency Department Pharmacist:

  • Offer clinical pharmacy services in the emergency department, including medication therapy management, therapeutic recommendations, and dosing.

  • Provide patient care in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Must be willing to complete BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications to fulfill the role responsibilities.

    Qualifications:

  • Valid pharmacist license (Any state license is acceptable; Arizona license is not required for this tribal facility).

  • 1+ years of hospital experience or completion of an accredited residency program.

  • Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic environment.

  • Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with diverse populations.

  • Familiarity with RPMS, a proprietary system used in IHS facilities (similar to the VA’s Vista system), is a plus.

    Schedule:

  • Typically 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

    Housing:

  • Shared housing available on-campus at $400/month.

  • Individual housing available at $1200/month.
