Soliant Health is partnering with a well-established Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Central Connecticut to hire a highly experienced Director of Pharmacy.     Director of Pharmacy – Long-Term Care Pharmacy 

    Start Date: ASAP

    Key Details:

  • Staff Size: 50 FTE pharmacy professionals
  • Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 6am-3am; Saturday/Sunday 8am-8pm; Open 365 days/year
  • Pharmacy Services: Sterile (IVs/TPNs) and non-sterile medications
  • Workflow: Established, with no BOP challenges

    Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and manage a team of pharmacy professionals
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, with a focus on IV room regulations
  • Lead the pharmacy in maintaining a smooth, efficient workflow, especially on busy days (Mondays and Tuesdays)
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic initiatives and improvements
  • Ensure top-quality patient care and service

    Experience Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years in a Director of Pharmacy or PIC role within a LTC pharmacy setting
  • In-depth knowledge of IV room regulations is highly desired
  • Proven experience in managing pharmacy operations in a high-volume setting

    System Experience:

  • Familiarity with Frameworks and DocuTrack systems

    Schedule: Variable, as the Director will be responsible for all operations and must be on-site as needed.
