Exciting Opportunity: Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

Contract Length: 13 Weeks Contract to Hire
Facility: Long Term Care Mail Order Pharmacy
Positions Available: 2

We are looking for two dynamic, high-energy individuals to join our team as Data Entry Pharmacy Technicians at a leading Long Term Care Mail Order Facility. This is a 13-week contract with the potential for full-time employment. If you have a strong customer service background and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate will be willing to learn and be trained in data entry, while being comfortable handling phone calls and customer inquiries. Reliability, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system, ensuring timely and error-free dispensing.
  • Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely processing and dispensing.
  • Assist with filing completed orders, packaging medications, and profiling orders for medical records.
  • Engage with customers and patients via phone, providing support and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Complete weekly and daily tasks assigned by the staff pharmacist.

    Shifts:

  • Monday-Friday
  • Day Shift: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

    What You Need to Apply:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana
  • Previous data entry experience (preferably in a pharmacy setting)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Long Term Care experience is a plus but not required
  • QS/1 or DocuTrack experience is a plus but not required
