Soliant Health is working with a leading pharmaceutical company in Dayton, NJ to find an experienced 503B Compounding Pharmacist. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team in a dynamic setting. In this role, you will work directly with the Director of Operations and the Pharmacist-in-Charge, ensuring the facility’s compounding processes align with regulatory requirements and corporate strategies. You will also help in evaluating trends, making recommendations for process improvements, and supporting new product development initiatives within the 503B facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise compounding activities to ensure full compliance with USP 797, FDA, PCAB, BOP rules and regulations, cGMP, and all applicable federal regulations

  • Maintain an up-to-date pharmacist license for relevant states

  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes and compliance requirements to the team

  • Assist in the development of new 503B products, ensuring adherence to federal and state laws

  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure efficient operations

  • Manage the "Beyond-Use-Date" stock and maintain compliance

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, offering coaching and mentorship to staff

    Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD required

  • Active New Jersey Pharmacist License (in good standing)

  • Additional licensure/eligibility for licensure in other states such as AL, AR, ID, KS, MI, MS, NV, NY, OH, OK, KY, and VA is required

  • Proven experience in 503B compounding and knowledge of USP 797 standards is required

  • Hospital, Clinical, Long Term Care, IV infusion, and compounding experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to strict regulatory and quality standards
