Pharmacist Position Available – Alexandria, LA
Facility Type: 200+ Bed Community Hospital
Contract: 13-Week Assignment
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Details:
4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
Schedule varies and rotates (options: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
Every other weekend required
Technology in Use: EPIC, Pyxis
What You'll Do:
Verify medication orders for clinical accuracy and safety
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate directly with healthcare teams (physicians, nurses) to optimize patient care
Perform pharmacokinetic dosing consultations and adjustments
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
