Clinical Pharmacist Southeast Colorado

A hospital in Southeast Colorado is urgently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to step into a dynamic role supporting inpatient and infusion services. You’ll play a vital role across ER, med/surg, OB, surgery, and oncology outpatient infusion.
Position Details:
Start Date: July 21
Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify medication orders, identify potential drug-related issues
Compound sterile medications in compliance with USP 797/800
Support antimicrobial stewardship, renal and kinetic dosing
Provide drug information and education to providers and patients
Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain med security
Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and hospital committees
Requirements:
Active Colorado Pharmacist License
Strong clinical background with ability to support varied patient care units
Experience with sterile compounding
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
