Assignment Length: 14 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and verify medication orders for accuracy, safety, and therapeutic effectiveness
Provide clinical services such as pharmacokinetic dosing, renal adjustments, and antimicrobial stewardship
Compound and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications in compliance with USP 797/800
Serve as a drug information resource for staff and providers
Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain controlled substance security
Actively participate in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary rounds
Required Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Colorado Pharmacist License
Previous hospital pharmacy experience in acute care, infusion, or sterile compounding settings
Familiarity with inpatient clinical duties including dosing adjustments and provider collaboration
Strong organizational and communication skills
Must be comfortable supporting ER, med/surg, OB, surgery, and oncology infusion
